We have created an oasis in the midst of an historic New Orleans neighborhood, the Tremé. Restored to its original splendor, this 1892 big old blue mansion is less than a mile(11 blocks) from the famed French Quarter & Frenchmen St. Complete with 12' ceilings, old fireplaces, pocket doors, antiques, balconies, the house has an eclectic style that creates ambiance while capturing the spirit of old New Orleans. The space is a 5,000 square foot 2 story house that is divided into two SEPARATE homes that individually encompass 2500 sq. ft. on each side of the house. One side is specifically for guests and 2 of we hosts live on the other side. Our photos speak for the interiors...vivid colors, elegantly decorated with a mix of antiques and a touch of modern. It is clean & spacious with a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, linens, & towels, lots of bathrooms, washer/dryer, high speed internet,split system A/C heat unit, cable and smart tv (includes Netflix & Amazon Prime) and bluetooth music spheres(by request) for your musical pleasure! The outdoor space is a shared space just like a guest house or B&B. Though our guests are the priority, we do expect kind consideration regarding the space. It is quite accommodating with many areas and always works out wonderfully for all. Enjoy access to a luxurious & calming salt pool as well as an outdoor pool house with a flat-screen TV, bathroom w/shower, bar & seating areas, outdoor sofa, barbecue grill stove. Relax for the sunset on the rocking chairs of the front balcony or wave to the locals from our front porch, southern style, with porch swing and loungers. We provide a little lagniappe(extra gift): Fresh coffee, beer or wine & spring water, Wind River Spa(non-sulphate) shower gel, shampoo, & conditioner. We offer (aside from cable TV) Smart TV with Netflix and Amazon streaming in each bedroom along with HBO & Showtime on all TVs.
People are here to have fun and experience New Orleans and we would like our place to give you a feel for the culture in conjunction with your adventures in the city. It can be a lively, fun environment or simply a peaceful environment with access to the yard and landscaping that provides a tranquil Zen-like setting. There are so many places to be that all the space works out well for everyone, absolutely perfect for groups. We are here for you and provide as much or as little interaction as you choose. We have been in hospitality for a very long time and understand personal space and guest interaction. We have experienced with our 90+ groups, wonderful and considerate people making the experience of running a guest house a lovely one!
