A beautiful remodeled Country House, located a short distance from the magic Painted Hills, one of the 7 Wonders of Oregon. Located in a quiet neighborhood in the small community of Mitchell.
Spacious and cozy, with many loving details, this house can accommodate a family of up to 4. A sanctuary, offering peace and tranquility surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. The perfect place to get away from it all be in nature and view wonderful sunsets.
The space
This spacious house sits on a bluff overlooking the town of Mitchell and the hills beyond. It has just been remodeled, featuring a brand-new bathroom with a large step-in shower, and a well-equipped kitchen. A cozy breakfast nook looks out into the mountains and old fruit trees. The whole space feels warm and lively with great views from all windows that flood the rooms with light. Colorful art, throw carpets, and cozy furniture add to the special ambiance of the house. The two bedrooms feature comfortable beds with high-quality mattresses and cozy bedding.
There is plenty of outdoor space and a BBQ area. The Laundry room has been remodeled to include a washer and dryer.
The famous Painted Hills are close by, as are many wonderful hiking paths, and the John Day River is just a short drive away. The town of Mitchell is quirky and welcoming to visitors.
Guest access
The whole house and garden are yours to use. The attic will be locked.
Other Fees
• $95 cleaning fee for up to 4 guests
• $25/day pet fee (cash preferred or check at arrival)
• 5% City lodging tax
• 1.5 % Oregon Lodging tax
• The rates are based on the occupancy of up to 4 guests
