Overview
Salmonier Country Manor is a beautifully transformed Convent overlooking the ocean, and surrounded by nature. The Manor offers seven completely unique suites, all with private ensuites. Each suite includes Wi-Fi, Cable TV and a complimentary home-cooked breakfast. Here at the manor we take pride in offering something special for everyone. Twin, Double, Queen or King beds; stand up shower, bathtub enclosure or 2 person jacuzzi tub, we have it all. We can’t wait to see which suite you choose to relax in!
Just one hour outside the capital city, we are located just off the popular Irish Loop in a quaint little town called Mount Carmel. The area boasts some of Newfoundland’s greatest coastlines, enjoy the view of the Atlantic Ocean from our large front deck. Breathtaking scenery surrounds you.
The Manor also offers a dining room with occasional entertainment, a tea room and a parlour with a cozy fireplace.

THE NEWFOUNDLANDER
This small but quaint oceanside suite will take your breath away with its charm. Its cozy atmosphere will make you feel as though you're spending the night in the upstairs bedroom of Nan's Saltbox house. The Manor even offers homemade bread as good as Nan's for breakfast.
THE HUMPBACK
Around here we love all things Nautical. The Humpback suite offers stories about life on the water. Relax by the fireplace while you explore the Atlantic Ocean through your oceanside window. Wanna explore closer? Take a short drive to St. Vincents Beach where humpback whale sittings are oh so common.
THE YELLOW DORY
The Yellow Dory is a breath of fresh air on a breezy Spring day. Relax and unwind in this tranquil space. A suite suited perfectly to escape busy, every day life.
THE CLOTHESLINE
At Salmonier Country Manor we pride ourselves on our versatility and ability to accommodate everyone. The Clothesline is the ultimate space for your kids to enjoy their own private suite or for two friends to catch up. Love the suite but wanna share beds with your loved one? No problem! Ask us about our conversion kit to make this suite into a King Sized luxury.
THE PUFFIN
Newfoundland's official bird, the Puffin, is so adorable we thought it deserved a special room at the Manor. This snug, queen bed suite offers a restful forest view to clear your mind. Spend the day exploring Cape St. Mary's Ecological reserve where you'll be lucky enough to meet one of these sweet puffins in person.
THE GREY FOGGY DAY
This tiny Atlantic Ocean island location doesn't only come with vast rugged coastlines, it brings it's share of hard ocean weather as well. Much like a "Grey Foggy Day", this suite will make you want to stay in bed all day. It's fluffy white duvet, calming colour palette and serene view of the forest will have you sleeping in and enjoying the hospitality the Manor offers.
CAPTAIN SAM’S SUITE
Our premium suite offers all the luxuries to make you feel like you’re the Captain. Switch on the fireplace, soak in our 2 person jacuzzi tub and enjoy the scenic ocean view from one of three large suite windows. When you stay in Captain Sam’s suite, we assure you you’ll feel like you’re in full command.

Salmonier Country Manor requires a 14 day cancellation notification for a full refund. Failure to do so will result in a 50% charge of booking up to one week before reservation. All cancellations received within one week of reservation will result in full charge of reservation to credit card on file.

A credit card is required to secure any reservations.

Salmonier Country Manor is not responsible for changes to your reservation due to inclement weather, unforeseen changes to travel plans, personal sickness or injury, or family emergencies.

If your plans change after your reservation is confirmed, please contact us at least 14 days prior to your arrival. We are happy to change your dates for no fee.

Rates and policies are subject to change and may vary depending on season. Balances due will automatically be charged upon check in. Cancellations within fourteen days (14) of your stay are non-refundable.
