The fully equipped kitchen has granite countertops and walls, rich golden-brown cabinets, a dishwasher and a giant refrigerator. The bedrooms offer 2 kings and two twins. There’s air conditioning, a washer/dryer and a big flatscreen TV in the living room. Local tour operators offer every adventure imaginable, from fishing, scuba diving and sunset cruises to ziplining, horseback riding, ATVs and much more. From here you can take a day trip to Rincón de la Vieja Volcano National Park, where thermal features include geysers, bubbling mud pots, hot springs and mud baths. Also, just down the road is Las Baulas Marine National Park, a nesting ground for leatherback turtles. It’s right on Playa Grande, one of the best surfing beaches in the region.
